About me:
Maria Florence
Luján Spina-
planetary architect
Life caused him to be born in Mendoza (AR) near the Andes Mountains; I grew up and trained in Buenos Aires and after several years of artistic exploration I decided to focus my creative and cultural motivations on Architecture.
In 2012, with the blessing and the challenge of the change of the Planetary Era, I received the degree from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism. I always felt a great vocation and love for architecture and I managed to be emergent
for being faithful to an innate originality that he applied to the projects. Quality that allowed me to collaborate with many architects in different studios and companies since I was in my first year.
However, there was something in the paradigm of the profession that disturbed me: Old Age programming as a service of elitist artifacts destined to the creation of an artificial 2nd nature that overvalued the life of the cities, separating us from a reciprocal integration to the natural environments.
Reason why my career began to diversify to dismantle these principles that did not identify me and rebuild another one of return to the origin. I studied complementary extracts from performing arts, philosophy and letters and other humanitarian disciplines wishing to unify a deeper bond with nature, culture and traditional art.
I was part of several artistic groups (Circular, TAH, Combi) and cultural research (Atlas-Archivo) with which we won prizes and competitions, put together exhibitions and publications made visible in national and international cultural media.
Until in 2017, after a personal crisis, I go through a great existential void where I decide to get out of the successful path that I had been accumulating with other colleagues to give myself time to ask the wisest part of me:What is the purpose of my life? What service is useful to provide in this time? And I was willing to give up everything to inhabit that certainty.
The first was to leave the consumerist and dying city of appearances to return to a simple life on the outskirts of my family neighborhood, where trees and fur breathe oxygen, where birds can be heard at all hours ; and I insisted on taking care of my animals and seeing the small garden flourish with the hope that silence would guide my Spirit, cultivating a more intuitive, conscious and observant attitude of natural cycles.
The second was to thank what I learned in the most renowned architecture studios in Buenos Aires where I worked for 14 years, and focus exclusively on the path to independence; managing and directing the projects and the work team with humility, strengthening a learning of individual responsibility and commitment to my clients.
The third was to replace the perfectionist intellectuality acquired in 11 years of experience as an academic professor (FADU, Di Tella University), with an esoteric and metaphysical philosophy that was acquired from the legacy of ancestral cultures and me It allowed "remembering" other ways of inhabiting the planet in unity with natural territories. He accompanied these changes with new habits such as yoga, meditation, multidimensional connection therapies and the essential song to go training myself spiritually and physically, remembering the inner strengths and wisdom that define my cosmos together with a deep sense of belonging to the Earth.
In the midst of this path of initiation, the Planetary Villages project was born in 2018. Thanks to the support of the National Endowment for the Arts, in 2019 they gave me a scholarship to undertake a journey of exploration and creation of natural refuges formed by through the sacred mountainous landscapes of the Andes Mountains.
During the process of research and expedition to the Andean geology, I come into contact with the native culture of the altiplano and their worldview imbues with joy my imaginative abilities to reveal the sacred geometry of the biological kingdoms through the recognition of matter-energy DNA. applied to organic constructions and experiential spaces. And this made genuine and necessary sense for present and future communities: Rrestore our connection to the source of life permanently through a collaborative habitat with all sentient beings that allows us to expand consciousness towards Unity.
Reason that led me to incorporate a practical tool that gives answers to the planning and design of creative interventions for the well-being of humans and the well-being of the plant, animal and mineral kingdom (Restoration ofecosystems to through the United Nations Development Program).
That is why today, I help people to co-create their own Life Habitats integrated with the recreational spiritual, cultural and aesthetic qualities of Biological Ecosystems in order to achieve a more expansive and collaborative life for the harmonious preservation of Mother Earth.
